Frankie screens across Europe
Frankie, a short film written and directed by Darren Thornton , produced by Calipo Picture Company (funded by IFB/RTE) continues to screen in Europe. To date in 2009, it has screened as part of The Short Golden Nights Tour, Imput and Short Mattters.
The Short Golden Nights Tour. Organised by The French Academy of Film Arts, nine short films toured European cinemas in 20 cities in 8 countries across Europe. Frankie won the Audience Award, as voted by audiences in all 20 cities.
Imput. Frankie also screened at Imput, the annual global conference on public television which took place in Warsaw in May of this year.
Short Matters. The European Academy's Short Film Tour which brings all the nominated short films to a series of renowned film festivals across Europe.
